Flores analyzes current structure and makes recommendations
Flores is a valuable partner when analyzing high deductible health plan designs and including a Flores managed HRA to help clients control health care premium costs, while adding an element of employee participation in the process. Flores makes claims processing far easier with claims continuation services that flow through our self-funded/direct reimbursement Dental/Vision plans, our HRA plans and our FSAs.

Flores prepares a proposal
Most often Flores is contacted by an insurance broker representing a client in need of reimbursement plan administration services or COBRA administration services. While it is common for employers to shop for the lowest bidder to perform services as an administrator, Flores is unique in the quality we provide. Before Flores prepares a proposal for a new broker/prospect we first consider how the new piece of business will fit with our existing client base and growth pattern. Flores works best when a client has experienced poor service and realizes that the time has come to hire an administrator that will deliver results at a competitive price rather than identifying the lowest bidder. Flores works to keep pricing fair and reasonable and wants to help clients improve their situation... not simply win business. Please know that our best broker relationships occur when the broker brings Flores in to improve specific situations. Those brokers do not send RFP spreadsheets looking for the lowest bidder, in fact they know that help is needed at any price and that Flores value will always exceed the investment. Expect Flores to want to get to know the broker or employer and not simply issue blind pricing quotes.

Proposal is accepted
When the proposal is accepted the relationship-building really accelerates. Flores uses structured Implementation Checklists to smooth the transition to a new administrator.

Dedicated Account Manager is assigned
Your dedicated account manager and the back-up support team will be assigned. Flores does not utilize a typical call center format. Instead your calls received 8:30AM-5:00PM eastern time, will be handled by our trained staff and most often by your dedicated account manager and support team, based in Charlotte, NC. This may be the most important point in becoming a client as the account manager relationship with Flores is often considered to be one of the best vendor relationships our clients will experience.

Account Implementation checklist and timeline are developed
Customization begins when the dedicated account manager walks the new client through the transition process. Timelines vary based on the clients' ability to communicate information about the organization, the plans and the data. Flores operates with an understanding that time is of the essence.

Employer and Employee education begin
Flores provides clients with support tools, and web conference system tutorials conducted by your dedicated account manager. Your dedicated account manager will also be the primary contact for you participants' questions. Correspondence a participant receives from Flores includes the contact information for the dedicated account manager. Rather than training you on how to manage problems we will introduce you to our efficient communication patterns and information systems.

Praise will follow for your decision
Get ready for the appreciation and the compliments! Notice the comments to the right from clients, participants. Guess who looks good when Flores is involved? Well if you are in charge of human resources, then you will be getting some calls and e-mails... the good kind! Of course your broker may deserve some of the credit for introducing you to Flores, but you might as well go ahead and shine.
